Jack Cork always gave his all and was a model professional during his two and a half years at Swansea City. He was solid but also unspectacular and that statement proves exactly why we have made the right decision to accept a good offer from Burnley for his services.

After the home game with Burnley things were as positive at the Liberty Stadium as they had been all season. A joyous last minute winner from Fernando Llorente had put us six points ahead of Hull and our chances of survival were considered very good.
To say it’s been an interesting summer in south Wales would be a bit of an understatement as Swansea City prepare for their 6th consecutive season of Premier League football. We’ve waved goodbye to a clutch of players, namely our legendary skipper, while we’ve welcomed some new faces including two new strikers, one of which for a record-breaking fee.
