When I left work early to catch a train to London for a midweek clash at Loftus Road at the start of the season, I had no idea I was off to witness an away day that would live long in the memory.
There’s something great about an away day in the capital, and Brendan Rodgers side were on a huge high when they rocked up in west London after defeating then league leaders Manchester City on the previous Sunday…
In the fanzine this term we have been counting down the top 20 goals at the Liberty to mark a decade at our current home. Over the next few weeks we will countdown one per day accompanied with a video of the goal where possible. At seventeen is a striker with a particularly special chant.
